June 22, 2008 René of Twincruiser Worldwide Invitational is less than a week away. We have already announced that three of us will be attending the event. But now we can confirm that we are going to have a signing session of our own, just like BlizzCon 2007. Here are the details.

What? - Sons of the Storm Signing
Who? - Samwise, Raneman and René of Twincruiser Where? - Signing section at the WWI convention area
When? - Saturday evening from 18:45 to 19:30

We'll be creating a special SOTS @ WWI report after the event. So if you have any cool photos to share (that means mostly pictures of us, of course! :D) do not hesitate to send them over and maybe your picture will be featured in our grand Battle Report. Oh, and don't forget to bring your books, cards and patches of (Alliance) skin for us to sign!

Fire it up! ]]> May 24, 2008 René of Twincruiser Worldwide Invitational to be held in Paris, France. As it turns out, only three Sons of the Storm will be attending the event: Samwise, Raneman and myself. The three of us pack enough Horde pride to resist any Alliance threat but with the entire gang together we could have totally torn apart the mean streets of Paris. Fret not! The future will definitely bring other opportune moments for us to be reunited and unleash our savagery...

Also, you may have heard or read about it last week: L70ETC, the Big Blue's in-house band is going to be doing a live performance at the concert of the Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France. Samwise (in the guise of his alter ego Samuro) will be providing the vocals and 'Terran up the Night' along with the rest of the ensemble. So come to the closing nights concert and sing along with the Panda King!

There are two pieces which you must absolutely view right this instant! I'm talking about Samwise's Pandamonium and Raneman's Gnome Frost Mage. Now, normally I'm not the kind of Keeper of the Storm who singles out particular pieces per update and thereby appears to be a sycophantic bootlicking scum to my fellow brethren. But these, my canvas-ripping amigos, are quite special indeed. Note that they are dated 2006. They have been sitting on my hard-drive for well over a year and finally they are allowed to be shown.

Note how iconic Pandamonium is. A dash of martial arts, a hint of oriental fashion, a pinch of Big Trouble in Little China and a whole lot of pandaren! Just no doubt about it, totally tailored by the Panda King himself.

And then we have the Gnome Frost Mage. Now this is one mean-looking gnome! As one loyal to Thrall, if I would encounter a gnome like that during battlegrounds I would sincerely think twice before attacking it (which is never the case with gnomes!). Raneman undeniably brings the 'GRRR!' to gnomes. Hence his nickname...Gromes!

Well, Drawgoon is his name, and he truly sets the world aflame! Hear this out...his name is quite the delicate concoction of suitable elements. 1) Him having dragon's blood coursing through his veins grants him powers beyond Trogdor's burnination. 2) Him being of the Korean tribe flags him as an avid StarCraft player. 3) Him being an artist makes him a goon who draws. DRAWGOON!!! WOOOOOZAAAAH!!! If you, as a SOTS zealot, can't get a kick out of this then may I kindly suggest you drag your putrid carcass of a body out of our Hall o' Thunder -- be gone, heathen! You gone?!? Great, now we can really get this party started with the cool kids...

Today SOTS has, likewise, been enhanced with quite a few graphical gimmicks. Zombie does not learn when Zombie does not dig and explore. Zombie has to search this unholiest of domains if Zombie wants yummy snack. Don't eat monitor this time!

Today is also the birthday of the supreme ruler of those bamboo-loving monochromatic bears. So if you're not a zombie, raise your paws and claws high up into the air and roar with me: HAIL AND KILL, SAMWISE!!! And so he does in his first Battle Report article.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Samwise has given out more art to be included in his gallery. Also a new exciting section has been created called Battle Reports. Both Metzen and I start off in this information filled fountain. And as an extra, we've added another three wallpapers for your decorative purposes.

Many visitors might recall that my brother and I were very active in making art through our personal website The Halls of Creation and contributing to the WarCraft universe. In honor of our fallen brother in arms we have all agreed to make the duo entity known as Twincruiser the third featured artist of SOTS. It is now my life's mission to spread his story and realize my brother's dream. Thank you all who have given support, wishes and prayers through our personal website. But let's not forget to thank Samwise as well...for he has also provided some glorious new artwork to be included in this update. All of his new pieces have been highlighted with a golden border in his gallery.
